Dulce Pinzon is a Mexican artist and photographer who moved to New York over a decade ago to pursue her art. In 2004, Pinzon began a photo series on immigrant life in New York — with a twist. In the photo exhibit “The Real Story of the Superheroes,” she elevates the work of everyday, unnoticed Mexican immigrants from the mundane to the extraordinary. The result is pretty damn cool.
