I Like the Other Sides of Brazil, Too
I was actually pretty surprised when I searched for “Lenine” on Google Images, and the photos came up of a man significantly older than I thought the Brazilian singer/acoustic guitarist was. Which is a testament to his youthful, playful voice and still-vibrant guitar playing.
Lenine — the name is an homage of his communist father — is this weird hybrid of rock, samba and other Brazilian rhythms. But weird in a good way.
